- much hot air and advertising for Olympus
I can not understand the positive reviews for this non-fiction for the following reasons: 1 The book draws primarily on cameras, allowing the aperture and time setting. This is my knowledge, only a minority of the compact cameras possible. 99% of the compact camera choose the shutter speed and aperture automatically. I have the impression that this book is a copy of a book for SLR cameras. The author has obviously made a few adjustments (like the title). Very annoying to have to read over x-sites, that is to select for specific shots aperture x, or to change the lens, although for most of the compact is not possible. He makes fun of the readers? 2. Every other picture of a camera from Olympus, the author praises Olympus constantly on the clover, so I wonder if he paid for it. 3. The general wisdom of the author like "just a good ... Photographer takes good pictures "are not helping a whole lot of hot air and blather which has to do with photographing little 4th There are hardly any technical information, ideas or instructions Conclusion: The book is a sham, and it was apparently not entirely written for underwater photography with compact cameras. This book by Herbert Frei is a reference book on the market which one must necessarily recommended for all who want to enter the underwater photography or already are. I particularly gefählt information "Tips and Remember." Herbert is open specifically to practice too erleutern without much theory.
